Welcome to my candle shop blog. This is a first for me as I have never "blogged" before. My daughter-in-law has had to walk me through this like a baby taking their first steps! lol She also put this page together for me. Lots of talent there huh? Anyway, this is just the beginning of what I hope is going to prove to be a great start to a business I have wanted to put into motion for the past several years now. My candles are 100% natural right down the recycled brown glass jars and black lids. Even the paper labels are done on recycled paper. My wax is 100% pure soy, no additives. The wicks come from Germany and are 100% hemp, the oils are organic, and the color dye is made from natural products as well. It took me several months to find all the "right" materials I wanted for this candle but am now on my way. I will have a complete scent list and candles will be ready for sale within the next two weeks! I am so excited about this. I make them from my home, in a room I have set aside that we now call, "the candle room", so this is also a "cottage candle" in that it is being manufactured in a small home setting instead of in a big factory giving off toxic fumes. I will try to come back here each day and post updates on the progress. Thanks for visiting my site and hope that you come back again!

I'm glad to see you finally doing something that is just for YOU Mom. I love your candles and can't wait for you to start selling them by the boat load LOL.

btw, I put the layout together. Hyla found the pics and made the header but I put it all together and made the header transparent. She and I make a good team don't you think?

How awesome!!! I love soy candles more than anything...and they are so awesome because the ones that are real 100% soy can be rubbed on your skin as well! I have your wonderful daughter-in-law to thank for referring me here...and if you ever just want to give some candles away I'm your woman! ;-)

Thanks to all for visiting my site so quickly. Again, kudos's to my daughter-in-law for giving me the leg up in this area as well. I have been made aware however that I must also give thanks to my son, who is a genius when it comes to computers! He has been "tinkering" with them since he was in high school. Alot of what he is able to do is self taught (hence the genius part) but then I guess I am a "smige" biased in my opinion! lol I can't wait to get my first candles made and ready for sale. I think you will all love the scent list, which by the way will change periodically, with some "anchor" scents remaining constant. This is how I came up with the name for my compay. Like a carousel that "revolves", my scent list will do the same, never staying the same but always changing bringing people new and exciting scents to tickle their noses and bring a new "life" to the rooms in their homes.

Say Ev, thanks for coming to my site. Sorry that I didn't give you any credit for the creation of the page. I have written a comment letting people know that you also helped and yes, I do think you make a good team. Something like, "Beauty and the Brains". Hyla has a great artistic eye for putting things like this together and you have the definite know how to make that art happen and come to life. I love you both. Thanks!
